X E N O Z
On November 1 1986, 16-year-old Chaim Weiss was bludgeoned to death in his dormitory at a yeshiva in Long Beach, New York. The attack appeared motivated, yet the crime scene was manipulated, and no suspect was ever charged. Decades later, the case remains open and is listed among New York’s most baffling unsolved homicides. Note: An emblematic “cold case” that highlights frustrations in investigations, where clues exist but justice remains elusive.
